The objective of this project is to carry out pipeline capacity enhancement by the installation of a new pumping station at PS22, about 70KM from Nairobi, to increase the flow rate to Western Kenya. The new pumping station will have two multi-stage centrifugal pumps, Control room to house all indoor equipment. In addition, all necessary Mechanical piping and fittings/equipment, electrical equipment, and Instrumentation and Controls will be installed.

Strata will also construct supporting infrastructure, including:

• Access roads

• Fire fighting pipework

• Ablution Block

• Security Fencing etc.

This project will be delivered on a full green-field to turnkey basis, with the client only providing the two main pipeline pumps.

Strata will carry out all other design and construction works.
